Our God is a God of new things, In the bible, we see a lot of new things which God did. He delights in surprises of new things for mankind. The bible talks about the new heaven and the new earth. Revelation 21:1. The bible talks about the new wine that you cannot put a new wine in an old skin Mathew 9:17. a new heart and a new spirit. Ezekiel 36:26, the bible talks about new commandment John 13:34.
The bible talks about a new man, new creature and new things 2 Corinthians 5:17, so when God says I will do a new thing, that statement from the mouth of God is powerful and prophetic (the testimony of Jesus Christ is the spirit of prophecy.
