It tells us so many secrets, and what am about to share is a subject of very serious concern.
Perhaps you have a lot of money now and you think you can never experience poverty in your life, you are mistaken.
If poverty is in a person’s blood, he could have billions but eventually, it will come down to zero level.
The problem of generational poverty will not stop you from accumulating money as long as you depart the earth in penury. I have seen people whose mansions have been auctioned.

I have seen people who lost billions in a day. Poverty is a thing of a serious concern if you are a young person and the mosquito of poverty is already bitting.
If the little pocket money that your parents give you is spent on girlfriends, know for sure that you are already a victim.
Judges 6:12-13 says “And the angel of the Lord appeared unto him and said unto him. The Lord is with thee thou mighty man of valor.
And Gideon said unto him oh my Lord, if the Lord be with us, why then is all this befallen us?.
And where be all his miracles which our fathers told us of, saying, did not the Lord bring us up from Egypt?.
But now the Lord has forsaken us and delivered us into the hands of the Midianites.
Verses 25-26 say, “And it came to pass the same night, that the Lord said unto him take thy father’s young bullock, even the second bullock of seven years old, and throw down the altar of Baal that thy father hath, and cut down the grove that is by it.
And build an altar unto the Lord thy God upon the top of this rock, in the ordered place, and take the second bullock and offer a burnt sacrifice with the wood of the grove which thou shall cut down”
So Gideon destroyed the idols of his father’s house. The question is why did God give him that instruction?.
Or are we saying that God is not powerful enough to overrule their abominations?
Why did God insist that it was a condition to use Gideon to destroy the idols? It is a spiritual law.
If you hand over yourself to the enemy and you want to break the chain, you must renounce and reject the chain.
As soon as Gideon destroyed the idols of his father’s house, his progress began. He became a champion, a fighter, and a rich man.
But he did not address the generational poverty.
When generational poverty began in his life, he married many wives and started having children from them but when he was poor, it never occurred to him to marry many women.
And as a result of what happens to a man who jumps from one woman to another happened to him.
When a man sleeps with cockroach, rabbit, goat, crocodile and so on here and there, all kinds of things will invade his life.

All the negative anointing deposited in his body will affect him and his head will no longer be normal.
The same thing happened to King Solomon when he multiplied his wives and concubines, his head turned and he was not normal again.
It manifested as adultery but internally, it was a sign and beginning of generational poverty.
In spite of Gideon poor background, they gave him the crown of Israel but he rejected it.
That was when he was still humbled and sane. But he later coveted it.
Judges 8:24-27 says “And Gideon said unto them I will desire a request of you, that ye would give me every man the earrings of his prey (for they have gold earrings because they were Ishmaelites). And they answered we will willingly give them.
And they spread a garment and did cast therein every man the earrings of his prey.
And the weight of the golden earrings that he requested was a thousand and seven hundred shekels of gold. beside ornaments and collars, and purple raiment that was on the kings Midian, and beside the chains that were about their camels’ necks.
And Gideon made an ephod thereof, and put it in his city, even in Ophrah, and all Israel went thither a whoring after it, which thing became a snare unto Gideon and to his house.
Is it not strange that the man who destroyed the idols of his father’s house turned back using earnings from the people he captured to make another idol.?
The bible says it became a snare unto him and Israel.
Judges 9:5 says and he went unto his father’s house at Ophrah, and slew his brethren the sons of Jerubaal, being threescore and ten persons, upon one stone, notwithstanding yet Jotham the youngest son of Jerubbaal was left; for he hid himself”.
The child that Gideon had from a strange woman killed all his seventy children. so, technically and cleverly, the enemy relocated Gideon back to his to his poverty.
When there is generational poverty, there will be a continuous eating of the bread of sorrow. You will operate below your defined schedule.
There will be a loss of the head position that is meant for you, and you will be pushed to the tail region.
You will become a wanderer and aimless in life. You will be throwing your net into the wrong sea and catching nothing.
You will engage in unprofitable dealings, your eraser may wear out before the pencil because you learn nothing from your mistakes.
Victims of generational poverty are talented but unsuccessful.
They are involved in a lot of activities but repeat the mistakes that others have made and when you warn them, they will not listen because there is a call from generational poverty.
When generation poverty is in place, the person may be concentrating on something that will neither promote him nor help his cause.
The person will spend time on purposeless thinking or brainstorming. Thinking itself is a dangerous business and only very few people do a constructive thinking.
Most of what people call thinking is a meditation on their problem.
When generational poverty is in place, there will be a rearview mirror syndrome.
You will waste your time looking at the past instead of forging ahead. you will be struggling for leftovers instead of the main course.
The enemy will have a field day in your life because anytime he weighs you up spiritually, he will see that you are empty or lightweight.
And such people easily give up and they enjoy being at the bottom or backyard.
They have the attitude of boasting and sleeping, they run on the track of laziness.
When generational poverty enters your blood and you did not deal with it, it will deal with you.
Generational poverty has the ability to incubate in your blood system. Do not try to excuse yourself in any way, you must fight against it in prayer.
Types Of Poverty
1: There are activated poverty.
2: There is bondage poverty.
3: There is curse-induced poverty.
4: There is covenanted poverty.
4: There is magnetic poverty.
5: There is spell poverty
But the worse of all is generational poverty. That is the battle of your parents is now affecting you.
Can God break the cycle of generational sin?
Take your mind back starting with your father, if he is alive, how well is he doing? if he is dead how did he die?.
Was he prosperous? did he have money? was he able to feed himself and family properly?.
How much did he have? did he build a house? did he make any landmark? was he recognize in the community as somebody important?
Now run the same check on your grandfather. What was his profession? how much money did he have? Did he suffer till he died?
Do the same check on your mother what business was she doing? what progress did she contribute to your life?
These are the basic question for analysis regarding generational poverty. Take a look at your own life. In what way have you done better?.
What are the things you need to get rid of so that you won’t repeat the evil history of your destiny?
Poverty wears different masks and you may not be able to identify it as poverty.
While I was a student in secondary school and at some level in university, I had to help myself to make ends meet by teaching in extramural classes.
I thought Biology and I did home lessons too. From my teaching experience, I observed that the little girls that were impregnated by boys and men, who made their mothers come crying to our schools without exception were from poor homes.

The Importance Of The Word Of God
Adequate knowledge of the word of God is the only truth that can set one free and give a solution to all dilemmas including acidic poverty.
The prevalence of diseases, wretchedness, brutality, and disasters in Africa speaks volumes about the devastating effect of poverty in Africa.
God’s agenda is to see the man He created in His own image prosper and fulfill his destiny but satan whose three-fold ministry is to steal, to kill and to destroy thinks otherwise.
Poverty is one of the tools satan uses to perpetually oppress man. You can call satan any name you wish but you cannot call him a fool.
They say if you want to dine with the devil use a long spoon.
Whether you use a long spoon or not, he will still get to you if you make yourself available or grant him the landing space.
The only immunity to the antics of the devil and poverty is total obedience to the word of God.
Colossians 3:16 says “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
The word of God, applied in total obedience has the capacity to dismantle all forms of generational poverty.
The word of God has the capacity to dismantle satanic ordinances.
The word of God of Christ in your soul, body, and spirit has the capacity to unlock the potential in you and turn you into a walking goldmine.
The word of God in your bones has the capacity to banish poverty from your lineage forever. Jesus said, “The word of God that I speak is spirit and life.”
By the authority of the word of God, you can speak life into your life and destiny and banish poverty from your life.
Poverty is an endemic war, and you must be ready to wage and conquer it with spiritual knowledge and wisdom.
What is Poverty
Poverty is to have more appetite than food. Poverty is to be empty-headed and empty-hearted. Poverty is the burial of destiny. Poverty is the evaporation of vision.
Poverty is to be confined to the dustbin of life. Poverty is to punished for the sin you did not commit. Poverty is confounding inconvenience.
Poverty is so bad that it can take it can take up all your time. Poverty does not reason with you. Poverty is an organized evil genius. Poverty is the rage of wastage.
The most prevalent disease in the world is poverty. If you did not deal with it conscientiously, it will deal with you permanently.
CONCLUSION
There is no gainsaying the fact that poverty has killed so many talented people who could have changed or impacted on our world positively.
People with huge potential have been knocked out permanently in their prime by poverty. One writer said, “He that down needs fear no fall.”
You may think that you are comfortable now but never know the extent of what poverty can do in your life in a split second.
I counsel you to pray the under listed prayers with a concentration in your spirit.
A man who has never tasted sausage roll, fried rice, and toasted bread in the morning before rather, his breakfast is gari (cassava cereal) and peanuts won’t miss anything.
But a man that is used to eating sumptuous meals and all of a sudden cannot afford it again will definitely have problems because of his acquired appetite.
So if you are doing well or comfortable now, you need more prayers than those who are not doing well so that you won’t come down.
PRAYER POINTS
1: Any spell resident in my family line, I am not your candidate die in the name of Jesus.
2: Voices of poverty calling me from the grave, die in the name of Jesus.
3: Generational poverty of my father’s house and generational poverty of my mother’s house die in the name of Jesus.
4: O God arise and kill the poverty activator of my father’s house in the name of Jesus.
