[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The greatest power that God gave to mankind is the power of prayer. Everything we do in the house of God can be done even better by the devil but one thing he cannot do is to pray.

Men may not agree with you or they may even argue with your presence but they are helpless when you begin to pray.

There are some prayers in the bible that has the capacity to summon the angels of war. Prayers can provoke warfare angels to arise.

There are some prayers in the bible that can ignite the fire of God immediately when you begin to pray them.

There are some prayers in the bible that can make heaven to suspend all activities until they attend to your case.

There are some prayers in the scripture that can provoke heavenly anger. There are some prayers in the bible that give a resounding heavenly alarm.

There are some prayers in the bible that can provoke the heavenly fire brigade to begin to descend.

The moment these prayers ring in the heaven, they put you in the category of touch, not my anointed.

There are some prayers in the bible that knocks loudly on heaven’s doors. There are some prayers in the bible that have a sharp shooting impact.

One of such prayers is “O God arise and let my enemies be scattered, in the name of Jesus”.

This is one of the most powerful prayers in the scriptures, and it belongs to the category of touch, not my anointed

Another example of a prayer in this category is “O God enlarge my coast in the name of Jesus”

You need to know that if you are supposed to be an international businessman and you die inside the kiosk, it is an embarrassment to heaven.

If you are supposed to be an international student but the enemy downgrades you to the village level, it is an embarrassment to heaven.

Another Prayer in this category is the prayer that the disciples prayed when they were arrested harassed and charged by the Sanhedrin not to preach the gospel or mention the name, Jesus Christ.

“And now, Lord behold their threatening and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word”.

Immediately the disciples uttered this prayer, the place where they gathered shook to its foundation and the atmosphere changed and became charged with the Holy Ghost.

More signs and wonders followed because of the response from heaven.

Luke 18:1-3 says, And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint saying. There was in a city a judge which feared not God, neither regarded man and there was a widow in that city, and she came unto him saying, Avenge me of mine adversary.

Avenge me of my adversary is a very powerful prayer. This prayer provoked the vengeance of God into action. What are the different types of prayer?

It is a strange prayer. It is the only prayer point that dead people are still praying. It is a mysterious prayer point. You may wonder how it is prayed in the grave.

I tell you again that they are praying it in the grave and even in the paradise.

Revelation 6:10 says, “And they cried with a loud voice, saying, how long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth”

You can see that in the grave and in paradise they are still praying it. “Avenge me of mine adversary”.

A long time ago the psalmist who understood warfare prayed the same prayer in another format but essentially the same prayer.

Psalm35: 1 says “Plead my cause O Lord with them that strive with me, fight against them that fight against me”

You cannot afford to be gentle with the enemy because if you do not strike the enemy first, they may get you.

God knows what He was saying when He said: “Love your neighbour as yourself.” He did not say love your neighbour more than yourself.

In other words, you have to make sure you are secured first before you begin to discuss the security of your neighbour.

When the woman in the bible prayed, ” Avenge me of mine adversary” she was aware that she had adversaries but might not know who they were.

Her experience was very unpleasant and harrowing as a widow but she was not ready to negotiate or give up.

CONCLUSION

PERSONAL BATTLES

You must be very alert because the moment an adversary discovers a weak area in your life, he will begin to hit at that place. The widow understood that she was fighting her personal enemy.

It is amazing that some people fight other people’s enemies and leave their own enemies unchallenged. Some people come to church to pray about their lives and destinies and what they want God to do for them.

You need to focus on your personal battles. The fact that the widow cried out shows that she knew that she could not win the battle by herself and as such she needed a higher power to intervene.

This is what David meant when He said, “Fight against them that fight against me”. This junction I want you to text-run the sprayer and see what will happen.

O Lord, arise and fight against them that fight against me in the name of Jesus.

So avenge me of my adversaries is a prayer that provokes the vengeance of God.

WHAT DOES VENGEANCE MEAN

1: Vengeance means any punishment dished out as retribution.
2: Vengeance means recompense.
3: Vengeance means a satisfactory judicial compensation dished out for the evil done to a person or group.
4: The Bible makes us understand that the concept of vengeance means to avenge. God is the main avenger, and vengeance belongs to Him alone.

PRAYER

1: Anointing for productive thinking, come upon me in the name of Jesus

2: Strongholds in my life battling my destiny I pull you down in the name of Jesus

3: My head reject the bewitchment of my father’s house in the name of Jesus

4: Arrows of darkness fired into my head die in the name of Jesus
